Don't try to run 3Dmark on a pentium-166. It'll BSOD the heck outta your computer.

Also, when it says it needs a minimum of 128 megabytes of ram to launch at all, it means it.

Also, google chrome can theoretically run on an even older socket 3 board if it has a pentium overdrive installed on it, which means that it can run on something that was around when the internet was still mostly in its infancy.

My blogs are always about computer problems, aren't they?

The computer most of them have been about is fine. I've got several computers, though. The one that had all the motherboard issues was the main desktop.

The other personal computer I use a lot is a laptop. It's a thinkpad that has in it not only a 240 GB SSD, but a 1 TB hard drive and a 500 GB hard drive.

Well, when I woke up this morning, a new hard drive was on my doorstep.

Stuck it in my laptop during lunch, and started working with it after work. This hard drive works fine, and I got it set up as my new home folder relatively easily.

I hooked the old hard drive up to usb, and tried to see what I could get from it.
